One unique feature of DomainAgents is that we offer domain owners compensation for participating in most negotiations*. If an owner counters or accepts an offer, they have the option of either getting a $10 PayPal payout, a credit to make an offer of their own, a coffee gift card, or they can donate the $10 to one of three charities.
While the majority of owners choose the Paypal payout, many owners choose to support one of the charities. In fact, we’re happy to announce that in 2020 over $5,700 USD was donated to the Red Cross, Oxfam, and Water School.
If you’re unfamiliar with the charities you can support via DomainAgents, here is a little bit about each:
The Red Cross – Founded to protect human life and health and to prevent and alleviate human suffering, without any discrimination based on nationality, race, sex, religious beliefs, class or political opinions.
Oxfam – International confederation of 17 organizations networked together in 92 countries, working to build a future free from the injustice of poverty.
Water School – Is a global non-profit organization with a mission to provide simple, safe, strategic, and sustainable clean water and sanitation solutions to the developing world. Water School has long been a favorite cause of the domainer community.
We’re proud to have been able to help support these charities and hope that we’re able to donate even more in 2021.
