$6400 Raised for Charity in 2022

One unique feature of DomainAgents is that we offer domain owners compensation for participating in negotiations.  If an owner counters or accepts an offer, they have the option of either getting a $10 PayPal payout, a credit to make an offer of their own or they can donate the $10 to one of three charities. This year, domain owners were particularly generous!

While the majority of owners choose the Paypal payout, many owners choose to support one of the charities.  In fact, we’re happy to announce that in 2022 $6,400 CAN was donated to the Red Cross, Oxfam, and Water School.

If you’re unfamiliar with the charities you can support via DomainAgents, here is a little bit about each:

The Red Cross – Founded to protect human life and health and to prevent and alleviate human suffering, without any discrimination based on nationality, race, sex, religious beliefs, class or political opinions.

Oxfam – International confederation of 17 organizations networked together in 92 countries, working to build a future free from the injustice of poverty.

Water School – Is a global non-profit organization with a mission to provide simple, safe, strategic, and sustainable clean water and sanitation solutions to the developing world.  Water School has long been a favorite cause of the domainer community.

We’re proud to have been able to help support these charities and hope that we’re able to donate even more in 2023.

DomainAgents Recognized as a Top Broker of 2022

This past year was a bit of a hangover after a record 2021 in the domain industry. The combination of inflation, interest rates, and war made for a very unpredictable year. Despite all of that, we have worked hard to help domain buyers and sellers weather through it and today we were proud to be recognized by Escrow.com as one of the highest grossing domain brokers of the year!

We are honored to work with partners across the domain industry. We wouldn’t be here without the registrars, registries, domain investors and buyers, both large and small, that we work with every day. This is the sixth time in a row we’ve won this award and I’m most proud of our consistency across what has been a very turbulent number of years.

I’d like to highlight the great team we’ve built at DomainAgents. The DomainAgents team provides great service to every buyer and seller they work with, whether the deal is for a few hundred dollars or several million. 

2023 looks like it might have a rocky start as the world adjusts to a very different economic environment, but I’m hopeful that by mid-year things will be back on track.

Whatever the case, I hope you have a healthy and prosperous 2023!

We know that 2021 was a year full of highs and lows for many people, but we’re hopeful that 2022 will be better for everyone.

2021 was a very good year for DomainAgents and the domain industry as a whole. Web presence and digital assets are more important than ever, as you know, and the general public is catching on as well.

Watch out for some big announcements from DomainAgents in the near future. We hope that you have a safe and prosperous 2022!

DomainAgents Recognized as 3rd Highest Grossing Broker of 2020

This past year was the strangest that we have ever experienced. The one silver lining was it was also the most successful year in DomainAgents’ history. We were proud that that accomplishment was recognized yesterday at NamesCon Online when Escrow.com announced that we were the 3rd highest grossing domain broker of the year in their annual tally. We’ve now received Escrow.com’s Masters of Domains award 5 years in a row!

We are proud to work with partners across the domain industry. We wouldn’t be here without the registrars, registries, domain investors and buyers, both large and small, that we work with every day. Our industry has managed to weather the pandemic storm better than most and we should all be thankful for that.

I’d like to highlight the great team we’ve built at DomainAgents. Whether it’s a deal for a few hundred dollars or a few million, the DomainAgents team provides great service to every buyer and seller they work with.

I know 2020 was a hard year for many people and I hope 2021 holds better things for everyone.
